People In My Bubble World

Just in case I go senile one day, I hope this post can help me to remember the people in my life. Someone! Help me with that too.

My Family

This is my grandmama. A lovely lady. As I mentioned in my previous post, she is turning 98 this year! Or so I assume cos her IC only has the year of birth and it's 1910. Dunno if she anyhow write or not. Haha, maybe she wanted to hide her age when she came Singapore from China den she wrote 10 years younger. Oh man, that makes her 108! Anyway, when I was a kid we used to play masak masak together. I would use the used sheets of the Chinese calendar, you know those calendar with super thin paper and a day for one page with green words, ya, I would use it to pretend to pack imaginary chicken rice. Or rather I would bring my "baby" out to shop for groceries and my grandmama would sell my the chicken rice.

She calls me "Ah Oi" as in "阿爱" in Cantonese or at least in the provincial kind of Cantonese.

She is so petite that when I grew during my puberty she thought that wow  am I tall. Mfff...fmm, MUAHAHAHAHAH. I cant help it man, I really try to stifle my giggles.But really la, cannot. I AM SHORT LO. I am super duper small compared to others lo. But come to think of it, ya, I feel tall. Yeah yeah yeah, I feel so tall @home only. hee. Once I am in my pumps, I tower over all in my family. MUAHAHAHA, I am Tyra Banks @ home.

My Papa. If you bump into him on the streets, you'd probably see him in exactly this outfit. He will not leave home without his super duper big haversack, polo-tee or white long-sleeved shirt, dark-coloured pants, glasses and not not forgetting his always "wat's happening out there?" blur look in his eyes. You can be sure that if I spot him from far on the streets outside and I walk right past him, he wun even notice me. Haha.

He' retired, enjoying his life, activities after activities, photography club, calligraphy, blogging(!!!!), cycling.

He is so proud of his white hair and refuse to colour it cos he says it's "智慧的象征".hmm, can you see the big droplet on my forehead?

MAMA! I was always said to be the carbon copy of my mama. haha,

I think I do look like her lo. And that's wat I fear. From today on, I am gg to swear off potatoes and KFC! ( I hope I can last a week)

My mama had a 22-inched waist before she bore the kids lo. Oh man, Die. If the growth is proportionate, I die liao, the pig bu hui fei liao.

Ok, the grumpy black baby in my mom's arms is me and the dimply guy, I'll get to him later.

Mama and Papa are like cartoon characters. Small, round, jittery, the bling in the eyes the dramatic facial expressions, and my mom's in born amplifier. Think I got that from her too. Mama's a beauty lo but my papa is the natural-is-the-best-policy kinda guy. Oh come on, how is that possible?

I know I am equally beautiful without make up but duh, of course with make up I look even more gorgeous, right? right? I must make my mama up and tell my papa, natural is the best is so out lo.

What should I say, what should I say? I just pray that some girl would love him for who he is and be willing to chang xiang si shou with him. God bless him, man.

He really used to be my role model you know, everything he does i also wanna follow but it turn out that i became the pesky little sister that irritates him. but fair enough we irritate each other. haha.

 

That's Leo Leo. Haha, cheeky little fellow. Barks like a king at home, shiver like a mouse out in the streets. I adore him, he knows my emotions. Whenever, I cry or feels upsets, he crys with me and cuddle me up. He emphatizes with me you know.

My Familiy-to-Be

Handsome not? Too bad for you, he's mine. muahahaha. 7th year into our relationship liao but I still feel at times as if we are teens in puppy love. He really encourages me, pull me up from pits, fly me to the moon and take down stars for me. My knight in shining armour, prince on the white horse and ice-cream in my fridge. =P

I love the way he engages himself in TV shows, when one character ask another a question, Randy nods his head as if he is the one being asked lo. So super cute lo. Look, look at his eyes. Haha...........
