God will provide. Or not?

Dear and I had been finding out information on getting a house. We tot that if we get a resale flat, we will get a $40,000 grant, we do not need to prepare so much cash. However, we found out that we need cold hard cash. Sellers are asking for $ above valuation. and total up we need to prepare +-$30,000 and still got agent fee lei?

I am truly perturbed, how are we gg to find so much cash? New flats still need to wait 2-5 years. if we go for BTO flats, are we gg to wait till den then get married? or marry liao stay where? Rent? That will require much more money and we will be paying for somthg that will not eventually become ours.

Even if we get direct from HDB new flats, ready made, we do not have enough CPF $ to pay for the 10% downpayment, we at most only have 5%. So no matter wat, if we want to get our flat now, urgently, we need cold hard cash. God, How?!

Abi recommend that we "discuss" with our parents. How how how? Of course I do not want to loan from my parents. This is our own house. I want it to be something that we build with our own hands. Sook lee say, can consider loan from bank but bank's interest rates are so high, why not "discuss with parents to pay them back with interest, anyhow, i will save on the bank's high interest rates. Hmm, good idea. But the idea of depending on papa mama for this really really really make me very super sian. But I am constantly reminded of Dr Kim's message. Ask and u shall receive. Definitely, if we need it, we ask, we will receive. Hai, i dunno. =( very very very heavy in the heart.
